Larry Runyon

April, 2008

I am very proud to share this very special award presentation given to Larry Runyon from his employer (HQ's DOE). This is the highest award a contractor for DOE can receive.  Larry's employer flew Cheryl’ to D.C., so she could to be present on this very special day.

The photo above was taken (during this time) at the Old Town Alexandria harbor were Larry & Cheryl had dinner with friends. Don't they look great!

Deputy Director’s Award

 Presented to

 Larry Runyon

Larry Runyon is being recognized for his outstanding performance in executing his responsibilities as the Deputy Senior Counterintelligence Officer at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and in particular, for his diligence, aggressiveness, thoroughness, and overall professionalism demonstrated during his investigation of two high profile cases of national impact that ultimately became models for the entire DOE Counterintelligence community to emulate.  His actions reflect great credit upon himself, the Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence, and the Department of Energy.
