WAHOO!  The day has finally arrived...



We are the very proud PARENTS of a beautiful baby girl -

Birth Province:  Guangxi

Estimated China Travel: December 16-30, 2006



The last couple of weeks have been excruiating with more waiting...are we "IN" the referral batch or not? We received THE CALL yesterday from our international adoption agency, "YOU'RE IN" and "your baby's pictures and information packet is flying over the Pacific as we speak". 



WOW, what news!



We immediately called Doug's parents, my Mom, Auntie Jules, Auntie Tenley, Auntie Chelsea, Uncle Rob & Susan, Auntie Lisa, Auntie Kim, Auntie Louise, Auntie Wendy...well you get the picture. For those who did not receive a personal call yesterday, please do not feel left out. We were just waiting to send our BIG ANNOUNCEMENT and first pics of Miss Emmie!



We feel so BLESSED and appreciate all your support over the 2 1/2 year journey to our daugther. Life as we know it will never be the same...and we could not be happier!



Oh, and additional thanks to Uncles' Peter & David for their submission of Emily's Chinese middle name, "Ling".
