ORAFs has been granted permission to share the Log Book of AC2, Leonard Fish who had trained at Mount Hampden, Rhodesia from May 1945 until July of 1945.

Leonard was then moved to no. 20 Cranborne in the August of 1945 and was then withdrawn from Air Crew Training.

Ian Meikle was born in Umtali in 1916, the youngest son of John and Bertha Meikle. John Meikle emigrated a child with his parents and elder brothers Tom and Stewart from Scotland to Natal in 1868 and entered Rhodesia in 1892.

SergeantPilot JB Boyd-Clark

This is a public story

Sergeant/Pilot JB Boyd-Clark entered into rest in April 1943 whilst serving overseas.

He died, of Bilhazia whilst on operational tour in the UK in April 1942 and was buried with full military honours in Yorkshire.
He was a Plumtree boy!
