My name is Ron, 'Born, November 27, 1946, in Bangor, Maine'.
I grew up in the City of Brewer, across the Penobscot River from Bangor. After graduating from Brewer High School in June of 1965, I went to work at Eastern Fine Paper until I was drafted into the Army in January of 1966. After basic training and Military Police School, I went to Vietnam for thirteen months with the 720th Military Police Battalion. They have a web-site (www.720mpreunion.org) click on Vietnam war and find me in the First Platoon,C-Company Roster 1966 for pictures of in-country duty. I met my wife (Judy) of 41 years in 1968 and we were married on August 1,1970. We both retired on January 17, 2007. I retired from The City of Brewer as The Collections Systems Supervisor of The Environmental Services Department. My wife retired (after 43 years) of Government Service with The Social Security Administration. I have fought two different cancers these past eight years, (First Bladder and then Prostate and now Bladder again). It seems to be in remission now and hopefully we can keep it that way. Please feel free to add your comments to my articles I have put here. Discussion makes the world a better place. LOL (Have a Nice Day)
