Kristine Binderup's Story

by Kristine Binderup

I grew up among the giant and majestic redwoods along the Mendocino Coast, in a little town named Navarro. I was raised by my dad; we lived in a tiny cabin with lofts and I had a horse named Freckles. As a teen I moved to the city with my Mom, had a horse named Rafina and left home early. I have gone through some very dark times but through it all there was always at least one important person in my life who made all the difference.
I had two children at a young age and it took me a while but we have come through a lot and now have a pretty good life. I am now a single mom, with two teens.
