Once upon a time a Yankee, Greg, met a Southerner, Lesley, on (debatably) "neutral" territory: Virginia. Lesley clubbed Greg over the head and drug him back to her lair. Once Greg and Lesley finished graduate school at The College of William and Mary, where they met, they served two years of long distance time before meeting back up in Williamsburg, VA. True to form, Lesley cornered Greg on a desert hike in California while on vacation and demanded to know if he intended to marry her, preferably sometime in the near future. In July 2004, Greg and Lesley got married in Wilmington, NC and honeymooned in California. Two cats (Tucker and Diego) and a dog (Maggie) followed within the first year of marriage. Then, in August 2006, Rowan was born, nullifying their existance as DINKS (Dual Income, No Kids). But it's all good!
