Analysis Paper

This is a public story

In one of my college literacy classes I had to write one of the longest papers I have written so far. I remember it being such a struggle and I was very intimidated by the length requirement of this paper and analysis. However, it really made me go in depth and expand on a lot of my ideas. That paper alone, and the process of writing it, has helped me become a better writer now. I learned to take big papers like that one section at a time and to...

Nicholas Sparks in the Winter

This is a public story

My junior year of high school I began reading Nicholas Sparks books because I loved all of his books and most of them turned into movies so I was familiar with them. Each week a different student would be assigned to the chair, so no one would fight over it. However, you could lose that privilege by misbehaving in class or during reading time. For me, reading was more enjoyable when it was in a...

Writing With Illustrations

This is a public story

In second and third grade when we would write, we would be given a piece of paper which usually had a cool boarder around it, the top half of the paper would be an empty box for illustrations, and the bottom half would have lines for us to write on. I remember this made my writing more fun and enjoyable. I loved to draw when I was younger so being able to draw and bring my story to life was really enjoyable and something that I looked forward...
