Rooms in my Head

This is a public story

I go through the rooms in my head and I see the light of the sun coming in through the windows. I see wood floors and cozy furniture. I see my children, my grandchildren and my husband there. I feel the warmth of a fireplace in the cold winter and the breeze of the country air in the summer. Outside I hear birds singing me a song while I sit pondering below my trees. I long for an old hammock to lay in, not new but old, so I can feel the...

Youre gonna miss this

This is a public story

I remember a time as a young mom trying to navigate through the mall with two toddlers and a baby. It was clearly nap time and we all became very irritated. My oldest Laken was walking, while Landon was riding in the stroller and I was doing the one armed push while holding Hayden in a dead sleep with my free hand. Time

This is a public story

Someone said to me “Sydne you have too much time on your hands.” The comment came after I shared a favorite part of my day with him. The Precious Holy Grands

This is a public story

Each day with the babies is another precious gift. Little Douglas is so full of spunk and personality that she makes me smile all inside. She also is a constant reminder of my precious Whit.

Listening to the Weber

This is a public story

It's pretty cool to watch and listen to my Weber. He is so smart and articulate, it's awesome. Of course, there are still a few things that tickle me. For exampe, he still says "lellow" instead of yellow. He can say yellow correctly, but he chooses not to.

He also has a pretty good time teasing his Bokky and my name. When he's particularly playful, he'll call me "Pops." And then he'll say he is Big Pops and I'm Little Pops.

What a...
